On Kickstarter now launched a new campaign that offers a smart table tennis racket and to the appropriate App on your Smartphone, in order to collect the data from the bat and recycle. The data from the movement of the racket and the blows themselves shall be submitted to the App and helps with the Training and improve the game to the user. The technology in the racket, it says:
Table tennis is fast. Table tennis is a complex one. We are the friend that brings you in a playful way to maximum performance. The smart racket is the first racket that gives you Feedback and help you to develop your potentials. ... A 9-axis motion sensor detected, with up to 10,000 measurement data from each of your blows, and transmits the data in real time to your Smartphone.
The connection with the Smartphone is made currently via Mini USB port, for the finished models will be but a USB-C port available, so the need for the newer Smartphones no need for a special Adapter for the connection.
A price of several thugs are seen to selection. The cheapest Version of the bat costs 170 euros, the biggest package with several clubs for 750 euros available. A discount for Kickstarter supporters deducted-who acquires the thugs later on, pay a little more already. The finished models are expected to end in 2022 available – may come in such a Crowdfunding projects, but also, of course, to delays, to the other projects of this kind.
