Does Sony put the other manufacturers in the shade? If you have ever gone in search of the perfect camera, the Sony brand has certainly already caught your eye. With the new Alpha 7R V, Sony has once again set the bar quite high. The new model has some exciting features to offer, but the main feature of the camera is the special autofocus.
Equipment and technical features In terms of resolution, nothing has changed compared to its predecessor (ALpha 7R IV) – it remains at 9504 x 6336 pixels. The BIONZ XR image processor and the ISO setting with a high span ensure very high image quality. This time, even videos can be filmed in 8K and the remaining video functions such as 4K videos with 60 frames per second can also be seen.
Sony has not let itself be fooled with the display either. It can be folded up and down as well as swiveled to the left or to the right. The manufacturer advertises with an integrated image stabilizer, which should ensure optimal wobble compensation. The display itself has an appreciable 1024 x 682 pixels.

Excellent autofocus
Probably the most important feature of the new 7R V is the top-of-the-line autofocus. Thanks to the fast image processor and the AI unit, even better motif recognition is possible. The camera now detects insects and, in humans, not only the eyes and the body, but also the posture and positions of various body parts such as shoulders and hips.
So the autofocus should always be very accurate, even if half of the face is hidden or not visible at all. The model also has 693 measuring points.
Price
